We accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date. Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to be eligible for a full refund.

- Digital downloads or online courses (after access has been granted)
Return Process
How to Return an Item
- Contact Us: Email returns@uptownhealingnyc.com or call (212) 555-HERB within 30 days of purchase
- Provide Information: Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if the item was damaged
- Receive Authorization: We'll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions
- Package Items: Securely package the items in their original packaging with the RMA number clearly visible
- Ship Back: Send the package to our returns address using a trackable shipping method
- Processing: We'll process your return within 5-7 business days of receiving the items
Refund Policy
Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 3-5 business days after processing
- PayPal: 1-2 business days after processing
- Store Credit: Immediate (if requested)
Refund Amounts
- Full Refund: Original purchase price minus return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error)
- Partial Refund: May apply to opened items that we can accept back (evaluated case-by-case)
- No Refund: For non-returnable items listed above
Exchanges
We're happy to exchange items for a different size or similar product. Exchanges follow the same process as returns, but we'll expedite shipping of your replacement item.
Exchange Conditions
- Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- Price differences may apply for upgraded products
- We'll refund any price differences for downgraded products
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we'll make it right immediately:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging
- We'll send a replacement item at no cost to you
- We'll provide a prepaid return label for the damaged item
Return Shipping
Customer-Initiated Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The item was damaged during shipping
- We sent the wrong item
- The item was defective
Our Error
If the return is due to our error, we will:
- Provide a prepaid return shipping label
- Refund the full purchase price including original shipping
- Expedite processing of your refund or replacement

Bulk Orders
Orders over $500 may have special return conditions. Please contact us directly to discuss return options for large orders.
Seasonal Items
Seasonal herbal products may have shortened return windows due to their limited availability and shelf life.
Gift Purchases
- Gift recipients can return items for store credit
- Original purchaser can request refund to original payment method
- Gift certificates and vouchers can be returned within 1 year of purchase

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you're not satisfied with the freshness or quality of any herb or botanical product, please contact us. We may request photos and details about the issue to help us improve our sourcing and storage processes.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled without penalty if:
- The order hasn't been processed yet (within 2 hours of placing order)
- You contact us within 24 hours of placing the order
- Custom blends can be cancelled before preparation begins
Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees for most returns. However, a 15% restocking fee may apply to:
- Large bulk orders (over $500)
- Custom or special order items
- Items returned after 30 days (evaluated case-by-case)
